The Smokeshow Schedule


WHEN?

The first annual Columbia Valley Smoke Show will run on June 25-26, 2022. Barbecue competitors are encouraged to arrive and set up on June 24th or no later than 11 am June 25th.

DAY 1. June 25, The Smoke Show will run from 2 pm – 8 pm.

DAY 2. June 26, The Smoke Show will run from 12 pm – 5 pm.

WHERE?

The event will take place in the Invermere Visitor Centre / Columbia Valley Chamber carpark and the adjacent Lake Windermere Lions Club Campground.

WHAT?

The Columbia Valley Smoke Show is a two-day BBQ festival with a sanctioned Kansas City Barbecue Society Master Series contest at its core. Pitmasters from across North America and local backyard warriors are invited to compete and can register here. Surrounding the competition is a family-friendly, community focused, food celebration… Barbecue, Brews & Mountain Views!

SATURDAY JUNE 25:

– Day 1 of the BBQ competition.

– Product Demonstrations from leading and boutique BBQ/Smoker brands.

– Demonstrations & Presentations from BBQ Pitmasters.

– Family Fun Zone (inflatable obstacle courses, bouncing castles, lawn games, arts & crafts, competitions).

– Local Market Vendors.

– Live Music Stage. (featuring Hamburgers On Wonderbread & Big Eli)

– Food Trucks

– Beer Garden.

SUNDAY JUNE 26:

– Day 2 of BBQ competition.

– BBQ Competition Judging

– BBQ Competition Award Ceremony

– Family Fun Zone (inflatable obstacle courses, bouncing castles, lawn games, arts & crafts, competitions).

– Famers Market

– Live Music Stage (featuring L8)

– Food Trucks

– Beer Garden

HOW?

The event will have a $5 entry fee (same for children, adults & seniors) $20 for a family pass (maximum 6 people). Tickets will not be sold prior to the event. All proceeds will be reinvested into future Columbia Valley community events including the 2023 Smoke Show. It is recommended that attendees bring cash.
